Volunteers enable the Lakeside Heritage Society to provide its many events and activities and to give everyone a high level of service. They are indispensable to us.   Many volunteers are members, but we always welcome any individual with an interest in history who wants to take part.

From a few hours to several days, weeks, or months, there are various volunteer opportunities in both the Museum and the Archives Center where your gift of time will and skills be sincerely appreciated. Examples include greeting Museum visitors, sorting and filing newspaper clippings, working with the various artifacts in our collection, or maintaining the outside grounds.

New this year, we're looking for Citizen Historians who are willing to assist in collecting documents, photographs, and ephemera from events happening throughout the summer season. If you're a "person about town," please make your experiences last by passing on what you collect!

Interested in learning more about volunteer or internship opportunities? Please call us at 419-798-5519, stop by the Archives during open hours, or click the button below for email. We look forward to meeting you!

Thank you!
