Why Donate?
The Lakeside Heritage Society is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of Lakeside Chautauqua, the Chautauqua Movement in American, and the Marblehead Peninsula. The Society relies solely on membership dues, fundraising events or activities, and museum gift shop sales (including books, brick pavers, and Lakeside house markers). We gratefully accept not only direct cash donations, but assets in the form of stocks. Funds received are allocated to one of three areas: the General Fund for operating expenses, the Endowment Fund for securing our future, and the Building Fund. You are welcome to direct your donation.
Your support also assists the Society in preserving and protecting the many historical items entrusted to our care.
