Lakeside Heritage Society receives Grant from the Ohio History Records Advisory Board to create access to Historical Cottage Records

The Lakeside Heritage Society is pleased to announce the receipt of an Ohio History Records Advisory Board (OHRAB) Grant.  This grant will support the creation of a housing record, for each Lakeside Chautauqua home, in our historical research database linked to our website for public access. Architectural and remodeling records will be digitized from multiple sources of historic data.

The conversion is currently in progress. Records have been moved into Past Perfect, and enhancement is underway. An announcement will be made when a bulk of information is available to the public.  A Sunday Seminar will be held next summer to unveil and promote use of the records.

This project is in collaboration with Lakeside Chautauqua Association and its Historic Preservation and Design Review Board.
