The Lakeside Heritage Society is a not-for-profit organization under the laws of the State of Ohio and a tax-exempt organization defined by IRS section 503(c)(3) with a Board of Trustees consisting of 16 volunteers who serve four-year terms. The Society has approximately 300 members.
In addition to contributions and sales at fundraising events, the Society relies upon membership dues to support the mission and activities of LHS.

Membership is open to everyone interested in preserving, promoting and advancing the history of Lakeside, the Marblehead Peninsula and the Chautauqua Movement in America. Annual membership is calendar year January 1 through December 31 with dues as follows:
In addition to your support of the Mission of the Society active members receive the quarterly Lakeside Heritage newsletter, “Heritage Happenings” containing Society news and the Manifest publication which features a summary of current historical research on a specific topic and brief obituaries of people known to Lakeside and the Marblehead Peninsula who have died in recent months.
