The Lakeside Heritage Society, Inc.
Opportunity Tickets to win a Lakeside print depicting a “God Squad” gathering at Bradley Temple by artist Barby Bright were offered by The Lakeside Heritage Society during the 2011 season. The print was generously donated to The Lakeside Heritage Society by Ms. Carol Yoakam. Tickets were $3 each or 4 for $10.
The artwork was on display at The Heritage Hall Museum (corner of 3rd Street and Maple Avenue, Lakeside). The print - matted and enclosed in a protective wrap - was ready for framing. Tickets were available for purchase at the following locations beginning Memorial Day Weekend:
The Heritage Hall Museum (238 Maple Avenue, Lakeside)
The Archives (324 West Third Street, Lakeside)
The Dock Shop at the Pavilion (Lakeside)
The winning ticket was drawn on Sunday, September 4th at 4:00 P.M. at the Heritage Society Labor Day Weekend Sale at South Auditorium in Lakeside. Lakeside lovers of all ages found this delightful print to be a wonderful tribute to the childhood experience at Lakeside. All proceeds from the opportunity ticket sales benefitted the mission of The Lakeside Heritage Society, Heritage Hall Museum and The Archives.
